hi joy ! i agree that many here tend to come across as "mean" to newbies and to those still in the 'truth'. i think this all stems from being frustrated about knowing that there are still people out there who believe in the trash that the org feeds them. and then there are the differences in beliefs that cause tension between posters here. newbies and people who defend the org have to understand that most of the people here have been very hurt by the org. but then again, the posters already here have to understand that these people who come here defending the org are exactly like THEY -used- to be. we all need more patience and need to be more tolerant of differences

anyways, i think that this lurker should come out and say hello on the board.

ex-jw's are a bunch of $&^%& style posters, all seam to have one thing in common.. they never stick around for a proper debate.. just fire away some accusations, and leave.. gets on my nerves.. why wont witnesses stay and make their point against reasoned arguments?.

hi all - i was just reading the responses to the post on beating children in the washroom and my heart is aching remembering what it was like.

i literally have this hollow feeling in my heart right now remembering all the little children that were punished, and those who are still in, but have no way of knowing how different life can be.

you trust your parents to love and take care of you - and then they hit you - but you don't think, "hey they shouldn't do that" - you think, "i'm bad".

sleepy was 28 yesturday.. 28 on the 28th march.. that will only happen once.. but doesn't time fly only a couple of years ago i was single , living at home, fully involved with the truth.. today things are totally different.. i wonder were the next few years will go?
